A First-Timer’s Guide to Muir Woods National Monument

There aren't many places in this world that give the full Hobbiton vibes, but Muir Woods does just that. Surrounded by Redwood trees, this national monument is the perfect place for a forest stroll with loved ones.

I had the opportunity to fly out to CA to visit my sister and celebrate her upcoming wedding in May. We decided to take a day trip out to Muir Woods, a National Monument local to the Bay Area. We were immediately impressed by the size of the trees and how scenic the entire area was.
